Data we collect

None. Liryn has no analytics, crash reporters, or telemetry. There is no account and no server-side component beyond static file hosting.

Browser extensions

The extensions inspect media network requests (HLS, DASH and direct downloads) on pages you visit so they can be handed to the app. Captured URLs and page context stay on your device; they are used only as request headers for the download itself. Browsing history, cookies and identifiers are never read or stored.

Network requests the app makes

Downloads you start; update checks against downloads.liryn.app (version metadata only); and, if your organization configures one, a managed policy endpoint. That's the complete list.

Local storage

Queue state, settings and policies live in the app's sandbox container on macOS and under ~/.config/liryn on Linux. Uninstalling removes them; your downloaded files are never touched.
